Up-to-date information and training in suicide risk assessment and intervention that meets best practice standards. This intermediate level workshop will offer training in suicide risk assessment and intervention using evidence-based methods. You will learn directly applicable techniques of safety planning and interventions to reduce suicide risk in clients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults) including those with special risk factors (LGBTQ, multicultural, college students, K-12 school systems). The workshop is directed toward psychologists, LMFT, LCSW, nurses, and others in the mental health field and will meet the training for re-licensure required by the State of California (as specified in California AB 89).
